These Terms apply to all features and services we offer now and any that we may add in the future. Your continued use of the Services after we introduce new features constitutes acceptance of these Terms as they apply to those features.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Permitted Use

ScreeningResume.com provides AI-powered recruitment analysis tools that help recruiters evaluate candidates and help candidates apply for positions. You may use our Services for:

  • Analyzing candidate resumes against job descriptions for legitimate hiring purposes
  • Creating and managing candidate intake forms for open positions
  • Applying for job opportunities as a candidate
  • Generating interview guides and hiring insights
  • Other lawful purposes consistent with the intended functionality of the Services

4. Prohibited Use — Automated Access and Bot Restrictions

You expressly agree that you will NOT:

  • Use any automated means, including but not limited to robots, spiders, crawlers, scrapers, data mining tools, scripts, browser extensions, AI agents, or other automated devices or processes, to access, monitor, copy, scrape, index, or collect any content or data from the Services.
  • Use bots or automated systems to run candidate analyses, generate reports, create intake forms, submit job applications, or perform any other actions or features (whether currently available or added in the future) that are intended for human users interacting through our user interface.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features, rate limits, authentication mechanisms, or other technical measures that restrict or control access to the Services.
  • Engage in bulk or abusive usage, including submitting excessive requests, creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, or otherwise using the Services in a manner that degrades performance for other users.
  • Access or attempt to access the Services through any means other than the interfaces provided by ScreeningResume.com, unless expressly authorized in writing.
  • Harvest, collect, or aggregate information about users, candidates, or employers without their explicit consent.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Services, or attempt to derive source code, algorithms, or underlying data structures.
  • Use any feature, functionality, or service offered by ScreeningResume.com—whether existing at the time you agree to these Terms or introduced thereafter—through automated means, unless we provide explicit written authorization for such use.

These restrictions apply to all current and future features of the Services. Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your account and access to the Services, and may subject you to legal action including claims for breach of contract, violation of computer fraud laws, and other applicable remedies.

5. Additional Prohibited Conduct

In addition to the automated access restrictions above, you agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information (including resumes or job descriptions)
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services
  • Use the Services to discriminate against any individual based on protected characteristics
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data

6. Candidate Data and Privacy

For Recruiters: When you upload candidate resumes or other personal information to our Services, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents and authorizations to do so. You are responsible for complying with all applicable data protection and privacy laws, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations.

For Candidates: When you submit an application through our Services, your information will be shared with the employer or recruiter associated with that job posting. By applying, you consent to such sharing for employment-related purposes.

We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it. 7. AI Features Disclaimer

ScreeningResume.com uses artificial intelligence to analyze resumes, generate reports, suggest interview questions, and provide other hiring insights. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for hiring decisions.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and validating any AI-generated content before making employment decisions.
  • The Services are tools to assist human decision-making and are not a substitute for professional judgment, due diligence, or compliance with employment laws.
  • ScreeningResume.com does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated analysis or recommendations.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all content, features, and functionality (such as text, graphics, logos, software, and design), are owned by ScreeningResume.com or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Services (such as resumes or job descriptions). By uploading content, you grant ScreeningResume.com a limited, non-exclusive license to use, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We strive to maintain the availability of our Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice.

10. Termination

SCREENINGRESUME.COM DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCREENINGRESUME.COM AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
